Warranty information.
Please note, we only cover items damaged during shipment and only if you purchased insurance. Most products contain information on processing a warranty for a defective product. If it does not, contact us and we will help you. Plastic models, paints and glue have very limited warranties by the manufacture. Tools, Miniatures, R/C and Die Cast have replacement warranties.

 
Skill Level ratings.

Skill level 1
This is the easiest. Designed for beginners 8 years old+. Almost all the items in this class require no glue or paint to complete.

Skill level 2
This is harder. Designed for builders who want more challenging models, usually 10 years old+. Most all the items in this class require glue and paint to complete.

Skill level 3
This is the hardest class. Designed for experienced builders who want the most challenging models. Not recommended for builders 12 years old or younger. All the items in this class require glue and paint to complete. Some items might also require tools to complete.

Hazardous Materials
Hazardous materials (HAZMAT) are only available via ground shipping. This includes materials that may not be hazardous but is still restricted to ground shipping. Products of this nature are batteries, paints, and aerosols.

How can I delete, update or correct my Information?
Please contact us. You may ask to have the information on your account deleted or removed; however, because we keep track of past purchases, you cannot delete information associated with past purchases. Also, as a security measure we "back up" the data stored on our systems, and such prior information cannot be completely removed from our databases. As a result, you should not expect that all of your personal information will be completely removed from our backed-up databases.

What are my choices regarding collection, use, and distribution of my information?
If you are a member, we will from time to time send you email or other communications regarding current promotions, specials and new additions to the site. You may "opt-out," or unsubscribe from our newsletters and membership. After doing so, users will not receive future communications or mailings unless you opt-in, open a new account or enter a contest.

What security precautions are in place to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of my information?
In order to most efficiently serve you, credit card transactions and order fulfillment are handled by established third party banking, processing agents and distribution institutions. Currently it is PayPal. They receive the information needed to verify and authorize your credit card or other payment information and to process the order. We do not store credit card ionformation.

Privacy
This site is governed by this Privacy Policy. Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used at BlitzHobbies.

You can freely access much of our website without providing any personal information. Certain areas of our website, for example purchasing products, entering contests, filling out surveys, and receiving newsletters, emails or other promotional information from us, require that you submit some personal information. We do not collect any personal information without your knowledge! We use the information that we collect about you to fulfill your product purchases and our marketing campaigns.

What we collect........

Personal Information
This is information that lets us know who you are. Personal information is requested when you order a product, register for or enter contests and if you become a member. For example, this information might include your name, billing address, shipping address, telephone number, email address, credit card or other payment information, and product details to fill your orders.

Although we take appropriate measures to safeguard against unauthorized disclosures of information, we cannot assure you that personal information will never be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Notice. Inadvertent disclosures may result.

We gather information in the following ways:

Shopping
We collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration, demographic information, and to monitor the level of activity on our site. We collect information from visitors to our site regarding the URLs they came from (just in case you came from an affiliate), domain types, their IP addresses, the date and time of your visit or order, the number of visits and orders.

Ordering
If you order one of our products, we will collect and maintain your name, email address, billing address, shipping address, telephone number, product selections, order number, referring URL, IP address and a password. We collect this, and other information, as disclosed in this Policy, in order to fill your order, to communicate with you about your order and to send you promotional materials.

Contests
When you enter a contest or other promotion, you are required to supply contact information such as your name, address and email address in order to administer the contest, to send you promotional emails, notify winners and make the winners' list publicly available pursuant to certain states' laws. Your consent to such promotional use and disclosure of this information is a condition of your participation in any contest we offer. As a condition of receiving any prize, you will be required to submit an Affidavit of Eligibility, for us to ensure that you are eligible to receive the prize according to the Contest Rules.

Newsletters & Promotional Emails
We offer free newsletters and promotional emails as a service to our customers. We will send you newsletters and emails periodically listing current specials and deals. To stop receiving our newsletter, you must cancel your membership at Blitz Hobbies. For promotional emails, we sometimes hire email marketing firms. They work from thier own email lists and as such, you will have to contact them to be removed. Every email BlitzHobbies sends out has a link at the bottom you can use to be removed from the membership list. If there is no link, we did not send the email out.

We may share aggregated statistics about pages viewed on our site, sales and other shopping information with third parties. But we will not share your personal information.

Cookies
We use cookies from time to time. We use cookies for various reasons. These cookies do not track individual information. If you do not want BlitzHobbies to deploy a cookie on your computer, you can set your browser to reject cookies or to notify you when a website tries to put a cookie on your system. If you choose to disable cookies in your browser, you can still access this Site, however, your ability to use the shopping cart and forums section may be affected.

BlitzHobbies is not in any manner responsible in the event that you disclose information to a third party, an unaffiliated or an affiliated site. Whether or not you used our site to find them.


Children's privacy
You must be at least 18 years old to have our permission to use this site. Our policy is that we do not knowingly collect, use or disclose information about visitors under 18 years of age. If you are the parent or guardian of a minor under 18 years of age and believe that they have disclosed information to us, please contact us so that we may delete the information. Backed up data can not be changed. So do not expect that information to be removed.
